Pocklington church is part of the Yorkshire North and East Methodist District and the central Chapel of the Pocklington
and Market Weighton Circuit which includes 11 chapels. If you are in the area, you are most
welcome to join us for worship or at any of our other events, our Chapel is a place of worship
is open to all, at the same time it is truly multi-purpose.
A large car park is located behind the Chapel - go right viewing from the front - then left, left again
and the park entrance is 80 yards on the left.
The disabled are served by a hearing aid loop system in the Worship Area and toilets from the
Chapel back entrance corridor - which has external level wheelchair access (on the right from car park
or left side path from the Chapel front)

occasions or for regular

Sunday Club for Children during Morning Services at 10.30am
Tuesday Fellowship (2nd and 4th each month) at 2.30pm
Coffee Mornings at Bolton Chapel on Wednesdays 10.30am to 12.00 noon
Women Together on Wednesdays (1st and 3rd each month) 1.30pm to 3.00pm
Four Housegroup Study Groups
Messy Church at
3.45pm on each 3rd Tuesday per month (children & parents)
Circuit Choir Practice on Thursdays at 7.30pm
Early Morning Communion Service on 1st Friday each month at 9.15am
Prayer Meetings on other Fridays 9.30 to 10.00am
Coffee mornings on Fridays 10.00am to 11.30am
Praise Evening at Barmby Moor Chapel last Friday in the Month at 7.30pm
Concerts, Parties, Recitals etc. as announced.
The Choir is enriched by including not only Methodists but also singers from all the other
Churches and other towns

Fellowship may easily be taken for granted but they are all at the heart of what the Church is all
Year in year out, the church community gives financial support to the National Children's Home,
Christian Aid, Cancer Research, Methodist Homes for the Aged and to relief and development needs
throughout the world wherever and whenever it is needed.
